A narrow kilim for a hallway or landing, woven in Maimana, Western Afghanistan.

Woven flat on a traditional loom: wool warp, wool weft, no knots and no pile. Reversible, and hard-wearing on both sides.

Vegetable-dyed, hand-spun wool. The colour shifts slightly across the weave — abrash — because small-batch dye lots do that. Machines don't.

305 × 81 cm (10'0" x 2'8"). This exact kilim exists once — when it sells, the listing stays marked sold, not relisted.
